I installed my office 2003 on a new Vista machine then I did the Vista file transfer from XP and now outlook won't even open on the Vista machine. It say the pst file is corrupted and to use scanpst.exe to correct the problem but, this utility is not available in VISTA. So then uninstalled office 2003 and delete

File transfer in XP
I was told that if wireless is used, then the File Transfer Wizard won't work for me. I haven't really looked into the Wizard yet. This whole wireless thing is new to me. The desktop runs Windows XP Pr and the laptop Windows XP Home edition. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Problems with file transfer wizard
I've
got two computers connected with a direct parallel cable (serial)...and I've ran the Files and Setting Transfer Wizard on both computers(new one has xp pro,old one has ME)....the autodetect just searches and searches to the point where I give up and stop the wizard! Am I doing (or not doing) something wrong?

I have the 98 set as the host and the New XP as the guest, but I can not see ether of the file directories in Windows Explore. I need to be able to transfer files off the old 98 to the new XP. Why can I not see the other system after I am connected. Mac Daddy.

I Have been trying to transfer files from my old Windows 98 PC using the transfer wizard and laplink cable. When i go through the wizard it will not let me create a wizard disk as the option is greyed out. XP was pre installed on my new pc so I cannot use any of the other available options.
